Clinic Policy

Confidentiality

• Our sessions are held in strict confidence. A release form will be used to obtain permission to speak to your physician or psychotherapist, if needed.

Session Times

• Initial consultations are usually 75 minutes to 90 minutes. Follow-up visits are 30 to 60 minutes. We make every attempt to begin sessions on time and appreciate your cooperation in ending them on time.

Billing 

• Currently our clinic is in-network with Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross, Cigna, and UnitedHealth. Claims are submitted after every session. If we are out of network with your insurance plan then we request payment up front.

Payment Forms Accepted

• Acceptable forms of payment are credit cards, debit cards, HSA cards, cash, Venmo, and PayPal.

Fee Schedule - Private/Cash Pay Only

• The following fee schedule also applies for scheduled telephone and video sessions, unless otherwise stated.

  • Initial consultation fee is $210.00 (up to 75 minutes)

  • Follow-up sessions fees are: $126.00 (up to 45 minutes)

• Collateral time (i.e. time spent speaking with other members of your treatment team) is FREE up to 15 minutes weekly; the charge is $42 for every 15 minutes over the initial quarter of an hour. Collateral time is not payable by insurance. 

Phone & Virtual Sessions

• Phone and virtual sessions are available as needed. Typically not recommended for new patients. Same fee schedule applies to phone or virtual sessions. 

Cancellations/Late Fees

• Kindly note that a minimum 24-hour notice is essential for all cancellations. Appointments canceled within less than 24 hours are subject to a $75.00 cancellation fee, which is an out-of-pocket expense for patients with insurance coverage.
